I had read of this salad a month ago, and I was impressed in the mind.
I managed to replicate these days, but with a mixed salad, not just rocket (as provided for in the recipe). I am not entirely convinced, frankly, as the recipe intrigued me and has really inspired me a lot.
Maybe it was the wrong choice of the salad that I used, I do not know, I have to think about. But it is a purely personal opinion!
Salad arugula, gorgonzola and pears .
Ingredients (4 servings):
- 300 gr.rocket - 1 + a pear for garnishing the dish
- 100 gr. gorgonzola sweet diced
- 100 gr. of pecorino cheese
- 50 gr.acacia honey - salt, black pepper
- a few drops of balsamic vinegar
- 4 or 5 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
The process is fast: Transfer the salad in a bowl , add the pear, previously well washed and polished cut with slicer into very thin slices with the skin, then the cubes of gorgonzola, pecorino cheese julienne reduced to rather coarse.
salt (a little), add a pinch of black pepper, drizzle with extra virgin olive oil and mix well.
Only at the last moment before bringing to the table to add a few drops of balsamic vinegar.Transfer into a serving dish salad so that the center can be placed a small bowl containing the honey garnish the edges of the plate with thinly sliced \u200b\u200bpear with the skin.Once each diner at the table add to the salad on honey.
Recipe: Anise & Cinnamon.
